So... we distributed the shoes! That was great! and then... the whole village followed us home... this was a nightmare

Kangemi

My new home is in a slum of Nairobi county called Kangemi. Here a few pictures of my new house.

I sleep on the top bunk. My new host sister and fellow volunteer, Rahel (Switzerland), sleeps on below.

There is a DVD player to play all of our pirated movies (shhhh!)

St. Peter's School for the Disabled

Sooooo.... I switched projects for the second half of my year here in Kenya! I'm now a physical therapist at St. Peter's School for the Mentally and Physically disabled in Nairobi County. I love everything about it so far and the kids are THE BEST!

Every Monday and Friday we have an assembly with all of the kids where they learn to say the vowels and numbers
