Project Toes

Here is my mission. I want to raise money to buy these children shoes. I love these kids so much.

For the parents that can't afford to send their child to school, they make them help with whatever business they might own or take care of their siblings or their small homes. For those that can afford the school fee, they often keep their child from going to school most days of the week because they need help around the house or the shop...

I need your help to raise money to buy these shoes. Shoes are a million times cheaper here in Kenya! So I was thinking I can set up some type of account where everyone donates $5, which is equal to about 440 Kenyan Shillings, which is just enough for a pair of small shoes. That money can be wired to me in Kisii Town which is the next biggest city closest to Manga. There, I can buy the shoes and travel back to Manga and distribute the shoes amongst these beautiful children!

I'd like to call it Project Toes!

Thank you all so much for your support! I'd like to share this idea with you all while it is still only an idea so you can help me to make it become a reality just as you helped me to make this trip to Kenya a reality. If you have any suggestions on how I can get started or what the best way to raise money across the world is, email me or Facebook Message me. My email address can be found in my info on my Facebook Profile.

Thank you!!

Me and the Village Kids

"I AM HERE to GIVE wholeheartedly and LOVE unconditionally" #WeAreHere is a new project that Alicia Keys is putting on and as you all must already know, I am obsessed with her and will do whatever she says... She is Queen.

The one always in my arms is Jemima, my favorite little girl. She is a silly girl that always dances and jumps around. The one in Hannah's arms is Nyaweta, her sister. This picture is taken on the campus grounds. We took Nyaweta and her 4 sisters to Phyllis, who is a nurse, to see if she had Malaria. She didn't!

Jemima and the other kids tickling me!

The beautiful woman standing closest to me is Edna. She is 18 and AMAZING! This is the living room of her small house. As we walked in, the rest of the village kids began to file in after us, one after the other... IT WAS A FULL HOUSE!

Truthfully my favorite picture. All of the kids gathered for Hannah to take a photo but Jemima and Nyaweta and their friend Sarah and some little boys proceeded to tickle me and tackle me! They love to dance and play! So I have a mission...
