Homa Bay
A few volunteers and I met up in Migori last weekend and took a day trip to Homa Bay which is a little part of Lake Victoria... and wow. What a great day!! We first went to the supermarket and bought some ace cream. And then we sat down at the edge of the bay on the "pier' and ate and talked and took pictures.
Then we found ourselves at a little hotel that overlooked the water. We ate burgers and ribs and drank and talked and basked in the sun. It was honestly such a wonderful day of happiness and company.
